Students were surprised in October, when the staff decided to "Stump the Students" The staff dressed up as 101 Dalmations and our lovely leader was Cruella!

Here at Hazelwood we celebrate students during our Stand Out Assemblies at the end of each month! Students are recognized by their teachers for "standing out" in a variety of ways. Maybe a student stands out for showing integrity or for persevering. Maybe a student stands out for accomplishing their reading goals or for sharing their thinking in class. It brings such joy to students and staff to celebrate our students' accomplishments!

Unity Day is an annual event occurring during National Bullying Prevention Month in October that promotes joining together to create healthier communities through kindness, acceptance, and inclusion. It was started by PACER's National Bullying Prevention Center in 2011 and is now celebrated around the world.
